About
The mission of Students with Heart Foundation is to provide financial assistance to both undergraduate and graduate students who have heart disease and deformities. Founded by a young man with an extremely rare heart condition to help other students with heart conditions by providing scholarships to ease some of the stress associated with attending college, the scholarships are awarded per academic year to students living with a congenital heart defect who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, submit a letter of recommendation from a current or previous professor, and submit a personal statement on overcoming obstacles related to their defect. Students beginning their college career or those already enrolled are eligible. Scholarships may also be renewed.
Helpful Tips
Annual submissions are accepted between July 1 and October 1 and reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications are only accepted by Fax at (305) 397-1917.
