Founded in 1998, the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) is a national not-for-profit organization started by and dedicated to supporting individuals and families living with congenital heart disease and advancing the care and treatment available to them. ACHA empowers the more than nearly 2 million adults with CHD, their families, and the medical community by advancing access to resources and specialized care that improve patient-centered outcomes.

ACHA offers many different resources including webinars and downloadable Q&As with understandable information that allows patients and family members to learn more about their defects, as well as other issues relating to dealing with a heart defect. ACHA also has health passports to help keep health information organized and a searchable online ACHD Clinic Directory.
