Director's Description

Our pediatric cardiology program has been in place for more than 30 years. Although our practice has always cared for adult patients with congenital heart disease, we formalized our adult congenital program in 2018. A unique aspect of our program includes an easy transition for patients as they become adults. Patients come to the same location and do not need to transfer records if they received care at our institution. We offer multiple clinic sites in three states for patient care, which allows many patients to have most of their outpatient care near their homes. We do not charge outpatient facility fees at our Metro Denver clinics and many of our outreach locations. For patients this means that the charges for certain outpatient tests such as EKGs and Echocardiograms is substantially lower. Our provider also
performs diagnostic and interventional procedures which reduces the need for additional referrals. We work closely with our adult cardiology colleagues for those who develop acquired heart disease and need adult cardiology care.
