Director's Description

As the only CHD program in the State of Mississippi for both adults and children, UMMC is uniquely positioned to care for patients with congenital heart disease. We provide a collaborative program with other departments in order to care for the whole patient throughout their life. Our staff are personable and available for all inpatient and outpatient needs. Our cardiologists are board certified in Adult Congenital Heart Disease and can perform interventional procedures in our state-of-the-art heart center. With congenital heart surgeons on-site, we can provide the full range of treatments for our patients without leaving our facility. We also offer advanced heart failure treatments including ventricular assist devices as well as heart transplantation for complex CHD conditions. UMMC Adult Congenital Heart program is here to improve the lives of our patients living with CHD.
